Faux Bandeau

A faux leather bandeau set; up-cycled from what was originally a skirt. 

This set includes a matching chocker with adjustable chain detail that sits perfectly on your hips. The pewter color works well with a range of other color pallets. For versatile sizing (bodies are made to grow and shrink) the backing is designed with a stretch cord so you can tighten and loosen to the fit you desire. 

Backstory.. I bought the skirt originally at Salvation army. It had a Gucci label on it. At checkout the woman asked me "you know this isn't authentic right?" I laughed out of embarrassment, because I didn't, but decided I still liked it regardless. I wore it often while hostessing at a restaurant right out of college preparing for my move to NY. And one fine day it split down the middle, like the part you would NOT want it to split at.. so I took it to my studio were I stared at it till I designed what it would be next.
